Privacy
- If you join my newsletter, Kit keeps your email address and notes what you open and click.
- Your browser remembers your place in an opening, and what you’ve seen of the map. None of it is sent anywhere.

The newsletter
The newsletter is sent with Kit (Kit’s privacy policy). When you sign up, Kit keeps your email address and the date you signed up, and notes whether you open my emails and click their links.
I use it to send you the Dear Jane story and news of my books. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
What stays in your browser
If you read an opening, your browser remembers where you stopped (in its local storage), so you can carry on later. The map of Wishawn keeps a small note in your browser too, until you close the tab: what you have already seen of it. None of it is ever sent anywhere.
